I use mink and canadian pine squirrel strips on some of my bluegill/trout jigs. They both catch fish but not like sculpin olive grizzly marabou. I'd definitely give it a try.

Mink is not real popular but if I came across it I would definitely try it for a mini zonker. I'd probably zonk it in 1/10" strips.

Muskrat works well for trout jigs, a jig tyer on another forum had great results using it.

I have a little mink, well I have so many kinds of pieces of fur/hair. I have not tried it on a jig, but will look at it to see what I think. Mostly have thought of is for flies.

Now I have some beautiful min natural dark color and maybe I will see what I can do with it.

Nice job. I think they would work well for jigs.
