Default Actual weight vs listed weights

I collected this data over the years by weighing many of my castings and compared this to the listed weights on the molds. It is interesting to say the least. Thoughts I would share my information with you all. Name: 20200717_191539.jpg

Thanks a lot. I wondered why when I cast my own there are a different size than others.

Holy cow, that is a ton of info. I love data in format style. Not sure to me how useful it is as I think that when I have a jig sinking too fast I go smaller and visa versa. Thanks for sharing and you are very meticulous in your work.

I have also weighed a lot of different heads, but I didn’t put it into a nice form like you have, lol! Maybe I can get some of mine to add to yours as I think some of my heads are different than yours. Good job on this!

    Tom,
Are those weights with pure soft lead or hard alloy?

Pure soft lead I think. It came from a salvage company that dismantled a x-ray facility. Not wheel weights or as anything like that. Got it 30 years ago.
