Thanks for the bead size and idea about drilling them out.

Yes I do tip the flies with power bait nibbles or power wigglers.
I cut the nibbles in half and temper them so they are like a piece of leather. This way more than one fish can be caught without re-baiting.
The wigglers are cut into thirds or fifths. All is needed is a little scent to seal the deal( looks good, smells good, taste good, good hook up)
I am sure any liquid scent would work well also and soak into the body material.

Thanks for sharing....I really like the way you tied the rig up.

I tried using a jig for a weight. WOW did that work well; a lot of doubles.
I checked with the DNR only to find out it is illegal to use a jig as one of the three flies.:-(
Three flies on the line is legal but a jig and two flies is illegal.
So check with your DNR before using this type of rig.

Here in Iowa we can only use 2 hooks per line unless it is a 3 hook crankbait but if your allowed 3 flies but you substitute one fly for a jig is illegal is ludicrous. Three hooks are 3 hooks. I do the jig and fly thing here but I might be more careful in the future.

As far as I know thankfully Texas doesn't get into how many poles or number of hooks.
