    Default Bluegill jigs

Getting ready for summer gills and have been playing with some 1/32 heads I made with a #8 sickle. What's your favorite ty for gills?

I like em and I think they’ll work good. Take the black one and add 1 or 2 chartreuse V’s of hackle feather to that exact jig, change nothing else. Hs done well for me. Very nice work.

Those work for sure. Skeetbum’s suggestion is a good one. Been working really well here in central Florida.

They will get the job done. I have caught many gills on that 1/32 x #8 setup. I like black and chartreuse color combo a lot on my lake.

Those all should get the job done! My best producer has been orange head, black body and a black and chartreuse tail. 1/64, and 1/32 with hook sizes from 12 to 8 have all worked for me.

I really like the top one and love the idea of Orange head with a Chartreuse and Black tail
