I really like my Peak vise. It's a rotary vise but they have a non rotary vise you could get for less than $100.

I am surprised that vise cost that much, but looked it up and yes it was that high! You were close to the money for a Renzetti Saltwater Traveler which I like a lot and of course the Peak Rotary is less than this vise and will hold hooks very well, also built like a tank!

I got a Colorado Anglers 102 Supreme off Amazon for $20 and it's surprisingly good for the price paid. Rotates and holds hooks great when adjusted correctly for the hook size. Yeah it's cheap but all it needs to do is hold a hook and rotate

A lot of us use a Spyder Odyssey Griffin in the 90$ range.

I can second the Renzetti vote, mine is flawless and old school to boot. Never seen anyone with one like you pictured.

I love my Dyna-King Kingfisher and am totally shocked at the price of it!! $250 or higher for a basic vise!! I got mine on sale years ago for $85. Heard lots of good things about the Peak but it's really better if you could put your hands on them for feel!!
