    Default I need Help or ideas on a jig


    This might have been talked about before I知 not sure I知 new to the site but Iv been trying to tie a fire tiger color jig Iv tried 3 different ways but non seem to turn out right (I think) so can someone throw some ideas at me anything will help like different chenilles or ways to mix it up thanks everyone in advance!

    Arctic fox tail and pearl chenille I believe. The heads were powder painted with the dry brush tapping technique. Two 1/8's two 1/16's I believe. Did them guite a while ago. Name:  20160209_130934-1.jpg

    I did black/chartreuse/orange. Sharpie for the back and lines and orange marabou stripe on bottom. Lot of work.

    There is fire tiger chenille you can buy with those colors already. These come from Skip (skiptomylu). Then just use whatever tail material you like.

    Just another twist. Oh skip......... Like you commented I caught some crappie on these bead jigs last week. This is as close as I can come to fire tiger. I call it peanut perch.

    Congrats on the catching! This one a bit of a stretch to be fire tiger, but bet it will catch fish too! I have done well on the little spinner jigs I used beads on too. They work just fine!
