My friend Sam (drdore) tied a couple of these for me, one in the grays and the other in blues tones. I think they’re rabbit fur and barred feathers and I’m sure that I can’t tie anything like em. Had a chance to chase some hybrids today with Phil and these were taken along. The fish weren’t as cooperative as yesterday but we both caught some and the fly did it’s job very well. Held up good too great work Sam. They’ll be used again next time I go, I can’t wait.

Here ya go Redge. Sam will have to comment on how it was built, all I know is the head is hair and resin. The gray one has been wet so it isn’t pristine white like it was, but the fish don’t care.

Looks good and maybe UV Glue will do that too, but I also guess one could use Epoxy too. Interesting for sure!
