Default My Final Experiment Till Next Tying Season

I've got too many other things going on since warm weather may be settling in. Made a few jigs 1/16 oz. as an experiment using some zonker rabbit strips for tails. Time to start testing.

I like that. The only down side I see to it is all the green fish that are gonna have to have it too. Nice work.

Those look perfect for zonker tails (if they work). The strips I have are probably over 30 years old and have a heavy white skin. I use a Sharpie to color it dark and some flash to hide it. This old stuff I have is so much better quality than what I've bought recently. Just try running this brand through Google.

Good looking jig. The Bunny Brothel certainly is a catchy name.

Wow 30 year old strips, well I guess some of mine is close to 12 years old, lol! But this new stuff I have not tried even one jig yet, just have not been tying much in the last year. Guess I should try these, but I like the 1/8" wide strips best, but the 1/8" wide Flash is wider than I am use to for flash, lol!

Agree with Jack that name Bunny Brothel is and eye catcher, lol!

Skip....I had no intention of tying this year but the plague kept me in the house. May snow didn't loosen my chain either. That jig and a few others are intended for some long line trolling. I hope the strips wiggle a bit. The extra flash on those in your picture would not hurt any moving 0.6 to 1.0 mph.

Honest I have not even tied one using these yet, just have had a few to try. Actually I have not been fishing this year, it's not been a good year for me and fishing. Weather and the fact the lake was down 7' in December and not they have been letting water out since they started letting it fill again after doing some work on the spillway. So out hydrilla is non existing around me and I should have got out more and ran around looking, but just didn't and out weather, lot of rain days. I do think the flash these give off should make things interesting for sure!
