Default Bored to catfish, another float

Just another cabin fever, bored to death, web feet drying out float.
I really need to go fishing or gonna need a bigger house for my experiments.

One question. Is it best to leave it extended a little or would it be best to make them flush? I'm thinking extended but want y'alls input.

That looks pretty cool. Put a little weight inside, will make it lay over when using. Then when fish bites, it will either lift, if they are biting upwards, or will stand up if they are going downwards.

How would you weight the float to lay sideways? I was thinking about using hot glue on the top to counter the weight.

This is what I have the most fun doing, when not able to go fishing anyway.

Use some bb's, just don't over weight it. Test in a container of water, bucket or whatever. Run some fishing line thru it, and tie on whatever jigs you use. Wouldn't use hot glue for weight. With added weight, it will also let you cast further. Does my answer help?

I would have never considered using bbs so it has helped a lot. Maybe the noise from twitching the float will attract them too. Just have to do some testing and see what will be the right number to use. Makes it adjustable too since the bottom can be taken off.

If your wanting to seal it, would use a fast drying silicone caulk sealer, that way, you can clean it off and reseal when adjusting. By the way, what is it that you are using? You can also use split shot for weight too.

It is a bottle that held sour candy, get them in a six pack from the local stores. Anything I put inside will roll around a lot.

Those are big enough to put some kind of light inside them, for night time fishing, just saying.

Or paint the inside with skips formula! Would be able to see them 200 yards away.
