Jigs don't tangle and you can store quite a few bags of jigs on one clip. I use the stringer clips for my jigs and tying materials as well to keep them better organized.
I have a lot of jigs in the little bags too and have been thinking about removing all my jigs from the little boxes I have them in. I have used a ziplock sandwich bag to hold a lot of the little bags of jigs before too and may think about your clip method, not sure yet.

I just bought some of the 2x3 zip lock bags... I was thinking of either just the bags or a plastic box with some pool noodle inside to have the hooks attached on. Your method also sounds good!
