I usually put a top coat of sally Hansen hard as nails but it’s not necessary

My initial expense was 6 different colors. They may be a bad brand or something but it takes me 2 coats to get coverage I want. Then the end up with a hanging drop or just a dropped spot below them.
I want to go with powder paint. But it's going to have to be a little at a time based on cost of the powder paint.

This being my first time with it I am not sure how other brands do. Like I said I just raided my wife’s makeup bag tonight and gave it a shot. You’ll know why if I never post again lol

I used nail polish for a long time. Works pretty good, especially if you're not gonna be doing a lot at a time. Downside vs powder paint is that it takes a while to dry, isn't very durable, and can be tough to get a nice smooth finish with some of the cheaper stuff. Upside is that it's a little cheaper.

You could always drop your jig heads off at the nail salon. Those girls do awesome work

For me it just was not what I wanted so after trying and many bottles of nail polish I gave it all to my wife, lol! I do use Sally's at times, but not that much any longer. Mostly if I want to coat over a head for eyes or what ever I like the clear Vinyl. It will not discolor Chartreuse and it tougher than powder paint.
