My experience so far? I've been far less happy with use of polish. Last ones I painted were my 80th oz heads. Seemed dry when I started tying, and then noticed the polish was not completely dry under the surface, and was moving the dry surface when I was handling the jig for wraps and whip finishing.
I think I will give the powder paint a try.

I useta use nail polish, but it dries up too fast. Besides IMA sloppy painter. However, I might try the nail salon out.

Probably cost more than a couple bucks, I use the cheap stuff. I could paint black then clear with purple flake on top!
I have time to paint and let dry. I usually paint white base first night, the main color the next night, add eyes or effects another night with sally Hansen as top coat. By the time I go to tie any jig it has dried at least one day. I know this is long process but I enjoy it and have time after I put my girls to bed. I have a bunch of jigs all painted and ready to be tied. My girls also like painting them as well....lol.
