    You’ll never cast an 80 like you do a 16 but it can be done with a light rod that loads during the cast and light line. Lots of folks use them with a float to aid in casting.

    Long rod, light line, under a float and not very far.

    IMO, once you go below 1/64, a fly rod is a better tool.

    Like most have said, it’s difficult. I’ve done it but it was always close quarters. The good thing is that they fall painfully slow and if you make a bad cast you can get it back before it gets into trouble. A float, or clear plastic bubble, would make it so much easier.

    Love the unique proportionate perspective display of jigsize = Good job/great technique!! One of my favorite proven methods, can't beat the no float/feel the thump rush!! = Money!
