Cool jigs! I make some real similar and they've done well also.

Thanks Tom. It’s a new favorite of mine. It looks like a big tail but I guess it’s just how it looks. The whole thing is just about 3/4” long.

I like that and not much different than another jig that has very little material on it, the Popeye Jig I use to tie a lot for myself. It was just a thread neck jig too, but Hackle tips and two colors Black and Chartreuse. The head was painted While and a big Black eye, lol! I remember the first time I used one, the first time I noticed it after being in the water it made me think, wow that looking like a stick, lol! Just so happens that was a day I got tired of tying and went down to my bank and had a small cork and a 1/32 Oz jig. I was so surprised when I caught 16 that afternoon right there off my bank, then another 10 before the weekend to have a good fish fry.

I don't use that jig near enough and now maybe I will have to try yours too! Not to mention that this will give me a good way to use my marabou tips that I have saved for something like 14 years, lol!

Thanks Skip. You can imagine what my box of tied jigs looks like, and with all those choices, this simple thing made a big difference on the day. Now I have to go put a couple more in my already stuffed box.
