Have to use miners to need books like those, and I’ve only bought twice in five years. Necked hooks fine by me.

Just red and gold from the company's! If you powder paint your own be careful you don't take the temper out of the hook or they'll snap

If the powder paint curing temperatures would cause any problems, how do jig hooks survive baking?

I doubt the hook would get hot enough to cause any issues. Thoughts?

I don't think the baking part would take the temper out, but maybe the heating for the powder paint if you're not careful. I know I've melted 1/32 jigs by not paying attention.

Which brings up another question. What about the 600 degree lead when you pour them?

I’ve done this for a few years now and I’ve had days that the chartreuse hooks have done significantly better than plain gold while spider rigging
