I'm not sure I've ever really worn a jig out. I had part of the flash fall off (hobby lobby flash) I've had some marabou break. That was from using hemostats to remove hook though and accidentally grabbed marabou as well. Usually they are lost to hangups before then. It really doesn't bother me, just gives me more opportunity to tie more jigs.

I am the same way, I may get on a roll and not loose one for a while, but sooner or later it's gonna get snagged that I can't get it off of! However more times than not I change a jig for color long before it's worn, lol!

I can't ever remember wearing a jig out. It is lost to wood/rocks way before hit it's the 70 fish mark. Come to think about it I do hit that mark when fishing for white bass in the spring. I have so many hand ties that it really does not matter.

Wish I had taken a picture of that little Roadrunner my neighbor wore out, but we were fishing when he finally changed it. That marabou tail was worn down to just a little puff of a tail, lol! Rest of the jig was fine.

I end up breaking the hooks on jigs from pulling them free and bending back into shape.
