Well I can't help with what color that is, but one thing I do know about the guy from there is they like a big hook! Sickle hooks #2 at least!

I almost exclusively use #4 and #6, but the #6 is more of a Gray Ghost thing and the original Gray Ghost used a regular bend hook in a #6 and maybe even a #8. For myself the #4 seems perfect for tying and for myself the #2 Sickle with the longer shank is just not what I like for myself. Don't get me wrong I have some #2 and even a few #1 Sickles in 1/8 and 1/4 Oz jigs, but they sit on my shelf. Now I have been know to tie a few all Black marabou jigs using these hooks, but I also intend to use them on bass with a small Black soft plastic worm added on, lol!

Have you out these hooks next to #2 or #1 Sickles? Think you will see why they are used so much.

A #2 Sickle has the same gap as a #1 regular bend hook.

Most of us here use 1/0 and some of us even use 2/0 this time of year. When a 12 inch plus is smallest you can keep on the big 4 it takes a big hook to keep them buttoned up. As far as color goes I don’t know really what to tell you. Black, orange, and pink with chartruse would be the predominant colors. I know lot of the guys fishing Grenada are using some variation with gold in it.
