    If tried to mimic it but never came that close.
    If someone says they’re catching on monkey milk, I try to just tie up a minnow pattern. Something with white n silver and a lil black or not. Usually works.

    The BG brand MM baby shads seem to have a slight turquoise or lilac blue tint in the base color. Caught a few crappie on my ties today, but they preferred one in regular silver/gray, not the MM. With a nibble. Like SK says, you have to let the fish tell you what they want, not what you want to throw.

    Sniff, sniff. They didn't wan't my purdy jig!

    I felt much better after a fried crappie sammich.

    Edit : Maybe it's a pink tint. My color vision is not that great.
