    Default glow paints


    what is the best glow paint and clear coat out there? the ones i find local are junk.

    I use to make my own when I made my Glow jigs. Glow Powder and Clear Powder paint, but have to be very careful how much Glow powder you put in the clear paint and if my memory serves me it's something like 20% max. I also use to coat over with Sally Henson's Hard as Nails to make the coating feel smooth because it's a rough feeling until you go that. Still this heads don't glow near as bright as my bodies do, lol!

    Notice I didn't even turn off the overhead light and just held them under my desk just barely out of the light.

    Thank you! Keep in mind they are super tuff too and the tail will be gone and that body will still be there, lol!

    Just took a phone pic go my jar go Softex with Glow Powder in it. I hit it with my UV light and put it under my desk upside down and took the pic.

    I should add that mine is thick so it's not just running to the lid, lol!

    wow, and how old it that? That's awesome. I would imagine to a fish that would be like seeing a flashlight swimming.

    How do you get the body to glow? Is that glow chenile? Not clear...
