I ended up with a couple of roosters that should have been hens. Plenty of feathers when they become soup

If you think you want 10 prepare to have 20. They have a way of following you home from the farm supply.

Man it's just so much easier to buy a pack of Gray Neck Hackle, lol! Looks like you have some good looking color chickens for tying, lol?

Its easier and cheaper to buy eggs and feathers. The eggs are better than what you buy in the store.

No doubt about that and as a matter of fact most of the eggs we have are not from the store, but I don't have any living chickens, lol!

I grew up on a farm with all kinds of animals, chickens of several kinds, Guineas, Peacock, turkeys, cows, horses, pigs, etc, etc! So understand the chickens and eggs thing and I do eat a lot of eggs!

I eat scrambled eggs for breakfast most days. Haven't eaten a store bought egg in over a year now.

I grew up with chickens and I really miss eating fresh eggs. Way better than store bought. Store bought eggs may be cheaper and easier, but buying my jigs would be too and I think we all know how that's been working out for me!
