    Default Flashabou

I have some of the small stuff but I want what is called magnum. I have ordered what they called it but is still same small stuff.
I think I've seen people call it a 1/32 wide. I could use some help on this please.
    Thanks

The small stuff is I think 1/69" wide and then there is a 1/32" wide, but I believe the magnum is wider yet. Okay looking at my catalog I see some that is 1/100", 1/69" and 1/16". There also is a Magnum says it's Thicker and Wider for more durable fly. I also have a few packs of Saltwater Flashabou and if you think you may be interested in it soot me a PM.

I should also add the wider it is the less action it will have. I use the thin one because I like how much is wiggles with the feathers. Now it will disappear after 50-70 fish caught, but heck that's good enough I think.

Ok and thanks. I went back and looked at what I had and it said 1/32 . lol. I just thought it would bigger. It looks way smaller any way.
Skip if I caught 50 plus I wouldn't even care about the flash. LOL

    LOL!
Well I can tell you that I ask a guy that had some of my jigs how long the flash lasted because I know at some point the flash is just gone, but the jigs still work fine. He told me that he things it's at about 70 fish, but I also feel before that it's getting less and less.

The 1/32 is as large as my Saltwater and my Lateral Scale flash.

Is there not a set size for flashabou? Is the magnum not 1/16"? Or just different between manufactures?

I have the 1/32. I maybe wrong but don't think 1/16 would be to big. I have 2 sizes one being way to small, or I think so.I'ts smaller than the 1/32.

I may post a couple pictures on my starter jigs if I can figure how to do it.

I have some that’s super small, I think it’s called angel hair, appropriately. The big stuff I use comes in gold and silver only, Christmas tinsel. I have lots of colors in the regular flash, crystal flash I think, and mostly use it. If I don’t get my new boat up and running all my ties aren’t gonna matter. I’m ready to feel a fish on my line.
