    Default Ghost Fox

I found a whole natural fox tail some time ago and decided to play with a couple of combos with it.

#4 sickle hooks, 1/32 and 1/16 oz. Pearl Pepper and Smoke powder paint.

I am amazed at how much under fur there is. I wonder if it matters what time of year it is harvested?

Those are some great looking jigs for what I’ve been doing lately. The gills down here like a dark/light contrast, so I’d have to tie some 1/32 #6 just to find out. I believe they’ll do well on the crappie too.

    Nice jigs!

I have 26 Fox tails and other than the 2 Red Fox tails I have the rest are large very full Arctic Fox, All have a lot of under fur, just the nature of the beast I guess!
