Have to keep busy on the jigs - Prime Time is here. Caught two CNBGs over 12" on 9/5 with the last batch (nice when your tyes catch trophies). Focusing on Chubs & Bellyspinners, might be a little early for the Autos.
Thnx again guys
VCM - get my crickets from a liquor store that sells bait - close to the lake. Cooler times of the year I order off of flea-bay (1000 is ~$23 free shipping) - from a guy in central Cali - get them next day. Kind of a pain to keep them.

Congrats on the catching, your darn good at the big gills!
They do like them crickets for real! The only time I ever got into the big ones was way back in the 70's bass fishing with plastic worms and we found something bitting the tails off in about 11' of water. So we ran back to the marina and got some crickets as we always had our ultra light stuff ready. We ended up with 42 and the smallest one was 3/4 pound and the largest was 1 3/4 pounds.
I still would love to do that again!

Great read and pic's as always Sonny. I agree with Skeet, I love the no hide how you do things attitude here on C.C. Most everyone is extremely helpful when it comes to getting the fish in the boat. Truly enjoy all your posts Sonny, and look forward to the next one. Thank you for sharing.
