    Default Solarez UV

I was thinking about trying some UV in my jig making. Mainly would be putting eyes on jigs but would also play with other techniques. Is there maybe one formula that would be most flexible or should I really get them all to try. They have a thin, medium, thick as well as flex and bone dry for thread heads. I was leaning to either getting the 3 pack with very small sizes of thin, thick and flex to try or just getting the medium in a larger size. Does anyone have any experience they could share on Solarez UV?

    Dave

In the past I have been using the Loon UV in the thin formula
Reason for thin I found it more user friendly to work with especially on eyes
then if need be you can always apply a second coat
As far as the name brand feel it becomes mere preference all doing the same thing
    Hope this helps

For me it just depends on how I want to use it. Am not sure if I have any medium, but do have both thick and thin. Maybe medium is great for more things, but sorry I don’t know!

Think I’m gonna get the 3 sample pack and try them out to see what I like. I’m seeing all other kinds of possibilities with this stuff as well.

    You’re right.

Solarez is inflated in price unless you buy it buy it in a large quantity. Been there, done that, = no advantage. Made many grass shrimp style jigs, but found if you just match a color scheme it’d catch the same and not eat your pockets and more importantly your time.
May Change my opinion when I’m retired or rich, but as of right now redneck, no.

I hardly ever use what I have here now and the best one stopped making it. I actually have Loon and Clear Cure Goo (which is the one that I feel was best). I would use it on some special things, but not something I use often.

I use Loctite Super Glue Gel Control. I can put a tiny drop in the middle of the docket and stick the eye on top and gently press.

That's what I've been doing but I then go back over them with the Sally Hansen. I think the UV might be the easiest because I could just stick then UV in place with no fear of eye falling off or gluing my fingers on jig....lol. That has happened several times now...lol.
