    Default Fluorescent Jigs

I've been using fluorescent colors for a while but never really knew for sure if they really did anything. The other day I was cleaning out a closet and found my old black light so thought I'd check out how they looked. I gotta say - I am not disappointed!

Very cool. That’s a very good photo! Skip used to have pictures on his website with black lights and showing the colors. I’m a believer in fluorescent colors myself. Thanks for sharing that.

The Black light just lets you see the florescent glow, but the big thing is Florescent colors extend how far it can be seen over a regular color and is the same thing for UV colors. We can not see UV colors, but some animals and fish can, but still the big things is giving more distance that a fish can see the bait.

I need to go through all my folders and find my Black Light pics, poor origination on my part for what I need now. Worked fine for years, but things are different now so I need work on this. However I did manage to find a couple shots to show.

Like those, always cool the way they glow. White glows well sometimes too.

I really can't say for sure, but I believe seeing distance which Florescent colors provide is a good thing. However under a light fishing I am not sure you need the extra distance, but once you get deep enough or away from the light some, I would think it would help. I do know that I have done well using Chartreuse at night and it's a Florescent color.
