Oh yeah those gray jigs will work good. I have really grown fond of mine. Maybe add a little flash and perfect.
These are my first attempt at tying jigs. Can't wait to try them out which may be acouple weeks away. I really enjoyed doing this and so glad I tried. But I definitely need a lot more practice.

Great work.
I’d fish the bottom on right off your desk! And I’d catch a cooler full. It’s nice. Top one, I’d trim but it’d catch too. Just a bit of a reach from tip to point for my deeper summer fish

Thanks guys and yes I think your right about trimming the top one but thought I would try it out first just for the fun of it.

I tend to have my tails long. If I don't get the response I want, then I trim them. As winter is coming, long tails will slow down the rate of the jig falling. But as has been said great ties.

Not bad at all for you first ones, am sure mine were worse! You have a good start and like you said practice it really what it takes.

Good looking ties for sure. Just stay with it, and perfection is just around the corner. Those will definitely catch fish...And oh what a feeling it is when you catch one on a tie you created...
