    Default Tying Rabbit Strips

These pictures use to be a slide show and hope they work for some that have ask about this. I will try to make a video very soon, but until then lets see if this will help.

    Skip

This was a Crosscut strip that I used on this, but a Zonker can be tired the same way or it can be tied on as a tail hanging off the end of the hook and tied on at the hook near the bend and then either chenille can be used for the body or just add a Crosscut strip for the body.

At this stage use a drop of Super Glue at the whip finish done at the place the hide is tired in.

Then wrap the strip to the head and trap it.

Then hold back the hair and start your wrapping the thread to make the neck.

I also should say normally I use Red Thread for the neck and just didn't on this one.

I like that as well, nice job! I also have tied a few using Tear Mender to glue the two strips together, then tied in. I do have a finished picture to show what it looks like. Actually this was an experiment for me about 10 years ago. Probably should have tied a smaller neck too, lol!
