Default Couple of spoons and a crank

Had a little free time over the weekend and thought Id work on filling my box for a trip to Maine this coming weekend. The spoons are made from silver spoon handles; my wife had a small business making jewelry from them. The crankbait is basswood. Its a little rough, but I didnt want to spend a lot of time on something Id likely loose in a stream.

Good idea. Jigging spoons have worked for me.
We are all just passing by,
And occupy our chair for but a short while
Those we get to sit with are Gods gift

Good idea, but think I would choose Stainless over Silver, after all Silver is worth a lot more than Stainless and a hand full of Silver utensils could be sold as is.

I agree, but this was mostly about using whatever I had on hand and not spending any money. My wife has several bins full of silverware, and she was very cognizant to not get any stainless ware when she went picking.
