Looks good. What is the color called on the sparkle silver? Looks sort of wine colored. I like that look.
Fishing with the Livescope has me spending time chasing what we call "Free Range " fish.
They are fish that are not hanging out on structure but just out in open water.
One of the biggest challenges is to get your jig down to them before they are gone.
I had Ron at Nekid tackle make me up some 3/8 oz heads and they sink in a hurry.
The jigs look a little funny but so far the fish don't seem to mind.

That’s been a wanted bait for many years, heavy and small profile. Believe someone made a bait tailored to the need at some point.
Seems more like a lake bait than a bayou/river bait.
But I’ve used 1/4 oz jigs in the mouths of bayous right where the river current breaks and had folks downright mad at me.
But I dunno nothin bout nothin.
Those look great.
Kinda curious as to the hook size?

Looks like tungsten?
I do know Jeff (CrappieDreamer) can do these. Helped me out with some earlier this year. His aren’t tungsten.
I have used 1/4 a good bit, but never 3/8. If you want them to look better just get larger chenille and it will look more normal, just heavy!

These were 1/4 Oz so think chenille like this will cover a 3/8 head.
