    Default Bobby Garland baby shad

I have always fished with live minnows. Started buying some plastics. Wondering how you guys rig them up.

1/16 or 1/32 barbed jig head, I put the hook in the nose and bring the hook barb out the middle of the back, I always put the flat top of the bait up and the "sow belly" as I call it facing down.

I use screw lock jig heads. Even the meanest fish have a hard time getting them off of the jig head. The baits tear up first

I use Richard Genes method only where he uses unwaxed dental floss, I use thread then thread the bait on as suggested earlier. back it off a bit when I'm satisfied where it's at, then a drop of fast set super glue and push it back up all the way. wait 5 seconds and it will rip before it comes off....
