Default Dragon Tail After Used a Little

I have not caught much and really have not fished more than a few minutes a couple times with this, but have caught a couple small bass on it, but as of this time I am sure that a Crappie has not seen it to see what happens. Also notice the 30 MM chenille and how it plays back after it's been wet and used a little.

Also this tail is FL Yellow, but I can't get it to show the right color so it is what it, lol!

Whatever sacalait hits that and holds on long enough for you to notice the strike is dying to be caught and eaten. Looks like great material and color but the range from tail to hook is a mile. Bring that hook back 1 1/2 inches and wait. Might catch the biggest fish of your life. Looks like that is a #6 hook?

I'd say shorten by half and see what happens!

I agree and really don't expect to get a crappie to hit this, but just in case next spring I will at lest check it out.

That Roadrunner is a 1/8 oz so the hook is a #2. I do want to cut one up into shorter pieces to try on Crappie too. There is a video where a guy breaks one in half to use and the smallest one of these is 4" so maybe it's possible. However I believe the cost is a bit much for these so maybe the toy ones are as strong? I have not clue about that though.
