Those look nice, now go test them out.
Being a long time Rooster Tail fisherman I came up with these. This is an earlier version. Hidden in the tail is a stinger #14 treble. Had to add the stinger for trout fishing. Sometimes those trout like to nip at the feathers. I build them both with a single #6 hook and #6 with a small stinger treble or single # 8 octopus hook. I find Colorado blades easier to control around cover. On trout they will go fish for fish with a factory Rooster Tail. Wonder if the crappies and gills would suck them up. Mostly I make 1/16 oz and smaller.
Those look nice, now go test them out.
They look nice and as long as the bait is small enough I feel sure gills will eat them.

Very nice. I like a rooster tail for a search bait lately and I believe those would do well also. Fish pictures—-Fish pictures!!!

Spinners work well on the move. The bigger they get, the faster the boat goes.
Bass guys live em.
I’ve been outfished ONE TIME, by my son. He was using a rooster tail.……
