I use the inside edge of a pair of heavy duty needle nose that are smooth. To hard and you can crack the lead. I get my eyes from a guy on ebay from china

Hey buddy I have one of the just want to know things going on here, lol! Anyway have you bought any from him this year? If so has his cost gone up from what it was say two years ago? I have bought from him before, but it's been a good while and I see some things got hit hard by the tariffs and was wondering if this kind of thing was also impacted.

Anyone that knows, please inform me and cure my wondering, lol!

Not sure Skip - Haven't bought any eyes but when I did they were $6 or $7 dollars per 1000. You could check ebay to see if they went up.

Depending on what you pick I roughly paid around $10 for 1000 of them. Lifefly-Outdoors

Super Pearl is about half that quantity though for same price.

Thanks, that is kind of my memory too, but wanted some conformation. I should have looked at my old email which I just did and your about right on 1000. I also see a lot I bought that were $8 for 1500.

Ah, so it has gone up a good bit and feel sure it's the tariffs. So they went up about the same as Marabou, 60% price increase.
