Default An attempt using a Gray Squirrel tail

Neighbor gave me a gray squirrel tail, said, see what you could do with this thing
Well hands are doing a lot better, so, gave it a shot.
Before posting this pic there was a proto one which at first cast got bit off
So, this one is a follow up seeing what tomorrow's result will bring

Very nice jig, good balance. While you’re at the bench, tie a few with about half the hair you normally would. I tied some for a friend once that had almost no hair on them at all and he swore by them. I like working with squirrel.

Crappie will eat that one good ! Nice tie! I use them a lot for blue gills but they don’t like em if they are real bushy!
