Jigs look great! If you don’t mind me asking what is your hackle technique? Small v’s and a tip or all tips? Been trying to get mine looking straight and pointed but no luck

Sorry to be so slow, but this weekend lasted longer with the wife taking off yesterday also.

I use one tip and stack 3 of the little V's on top. I pick them up best I can and pinch them kind of from the side. When I set the spot to hold the tail will be a little on my side of the hook because I know it's going to roll a bit when being tied in. Once I wrap the thread to the point I will stop and start back to the head, I stop and look at the tail and if it's not on top like I want, I try to adjust it like I want. Now if I can't get it right I will start over with the tail, but if I get it set right at that point I will hold my index finger very hard against the thread before I start to wrap back to the head because I do not want it o roll any more and once I get a few very tight wraps it it should be in place and tight so just finish wrapping to the head and then finish the jig.

I know how you feel! Had mine fixed a few years ago. Painful. Anyways, HOW MUCH YOU WANT FOR 'EM!!! I am liking those jigs. I just got my vice and tools, along with some hackle and Chennile, glue and what not. Gonna try my hand at it too.
