    Excellent tye - that puppy will hunt. You'll be happy with the duck flank feathers. Jungle Jim got me interested in them awhile back. I'm using more flank feathers them marabou in a lot of my patterns now. Still like marabou but the ffs are so much tougher.

    Default Rejects

    Thnx KC

    Desperate times call for desperate measures... Scrounged around and tyed up BSs from jigs that failed QC painting and the 2 jigs on the right are using Old style VMC (made in France) #6 hook. Hoping these will work until I can get some more jigs poured....

    Default Reject success

    thnx bg

    I powder paint my jigs - use brush tapping technique. The silver is a mirror coat with Columbia Coatings holographic glitter. The multi painted use powder paint blends that I made. I use black, pearl white, and red - with all 3 I mix in the holograph powder. The black paint is coated with illusion paint from Columbia Coatings. I don't see it on their web site now. I use a hi-liter or nail art foil on the blades - this is working out better then I thought. I use fingernail polish, wet-n-wild clear, to cover the eyes and paint & foil.

    Some results from one of the "reject" tyes;

    Was surprised with the number of fish that were landed using the VMC round bend hook.
