    bg - When you're lashing the legs down start with loose wraps right behind the head. Wrap back and gradually add tension. Too much and the legs flair. When you pull thread out - pinch the body and thread. Splay the legs on both sides of the head, wrap forward with medium pressure, back to the head. Figure 8 and whip finish. Every couple of wraps I will tug and pull at the legs to keep them in position. Check the underside of the tail also.

    Yes. It comes like a ribbon and you cut it and it separates. The rubber is round, not square.

    search on YouTube for living rubber. There are several videos showing tying with it as well as comparing to silicone
