    Default Jigs with a twist

I have been trying to make up some 1/4 oz jigs with a full or fat looking body. To accomplish this I have been taking two pieces of chenille and twisting them together. I worried that fish might unravel them but I put 50 in the boat this weekend and none came apart.

Is this a common practice that I had just never heard of or did I just get creative ?

I like the look of them. The thicker full body visually helps the look. Very nice!

This Jig tying is addictive. I have 3 Plano boxes full of jigs, all colors and I fish with a gray and black 90% of the time. I just can't quit making them :-)

    Sweet jigs!
The best thing my dad ever gave me was his love of fishing.

I have been tying 1/8th oz jigs lately, I have really been liking the Cactus Chenille for the larger profile of the bait.
