    Default Need some advice

I’ve been pouring my own jigs for quite awhile. Last couple years I’ve started powder painting and painting eyes on them and tying a few. My question is the clear coat over the eyes. I’ve used hard as nails, I’ve used clearacoat varnish. Maybe I’m just picky but I don’t like how they look after they dry. I recently got some clear coat powder paint and use it after I paint the eyes on. Does anybody know what temp to bake them at? Seems like the higher temp I bake it at the clear powder paint isn’t that clear? Do I need to go lower with the heat for long time? Any help will be appreciated.

Same here- sorry I cant answer Q- but I'm curious what paint for the eyes? I've got a "road runner" mold and they look so plain without eyes. Wasn't sure what to use yet.

I use ceramcoat acrylic paint. I’ve tried testors model paint but for me I do better eyes with acrylic paint. After I paint the eyes I bake them on 175 for about 30 mins.

I’m no help with your question either but you do really nice work. Most of mine are bare lead and use a painted head only now and then. Need to get back to pp my smaller heads.

I use Delta ceramcoat acrylic paint. But any acrylic paint would work.
