    Default While the wind blows

Winds here are really kicking up today so figured while I'm cooped up I'd make use of my extra time. Here are a few I tied up special for my nephew who will be joining us tomorrow while he's off for spring break.

Thanks! I've been on a "earthy" colors kick lately. Plain lead head with olive, gray, brown, etc. We haven't fished this one very much yet, but similar combinations have been my best producers lately.

Nice. I would fish those with every confidence that they'll produce.
Be sure to let us know how the trip works out. Thanks for sharing.

We've had cold front after cold front here and the fishing has been tough. Didn't catch as many as I would have liked, but got to spend some quality time with my nephew and Dad. Next time!!

I am having a very hard time believing the crappie still have not come shallow yet here on Toledo Bend. I know there have been a few caught, but the mass has not moved!
