    Default Shad darts?

Haven’t ever caught one and making my first shot at them with a friend. I’ve seen shad darts for years and tied these to be as close as I can remember. Also haven’t tied any kip for a while so it was nice to get back after it. Hope they produce, will post a pic if they do.

Good looking jig....just need a different style head and you got it...the original shad dart was tied on a shad dart head....I have tied a few of them over the years and sent them to the north country. Sent a boat load to Washington state over the years...I have never fished for them personally but the guys I was tying for said it was a real hoot....

Good looking kimp tail jigs and the fish will like those. The shad dart head jigs don't have a big following but they do work or I should say the smaller size does any way.

    Default Success!

They worked as I hoped they would. My friend Phil got the first and the most, and while I was apprehensive about the fl yellow and the red head, the fish liked it fine. On his rod. I think I got 2 and he got 4 or 5. Every bit as much fun as advertised with the jumps and hard pulls they give. I’ll do this again soon. Thanks for all the input, and I was kinda running on what I had head wise. A couple of pics from the day that started in the forties, glad I wasn’t in no beauty contest. Thanks......Skeet.

Great ties Skeet!! The shad don’t care if it a sloped Shad dart head or round head. Probably because our river flows the wrong way......another type of fishing I keep saying I am going to do. Were you casting or trolling??
