Default Jig Storage, maybe a good one?

Had a friend show me his new box full of jigs and I liked it a good bit so finally yesterday was my first trip to Lufkin where there is a Lobby Hobby and got one for my self. See pictures below...

Also got some 3mm foam to put inside each small box which there are 16 of them. Not sure it's big enough foam and have not done any yet. One other thing, it looks like a double handle, but the top one is used as a latch to close it by flipping it up. It's Acid Free as is the foam so thinking it should be okay for jigs. Here is the pics..

Thanks guys. I think as long as it's not standing up the rain would keep out, but not sure how water tight it would be if the rain could hit from the said of the lid closing. Have not had that test, but I know this will hold one heck of a lot of jigs. Make it easy to tai a lot of jigs fishing and just take out one box for one size jigs. I like it and hope it will preform as I hope with water. I can keep it out of the rain though if need be.

Not very costly either I don't think. will check why the wife on our receipt as I think it was like $15 and then the large sheets of foam were cheap too and all Acid free.

I got to pretty thin foam and hope it works because there will be more room in the little boxes. If these don't work I will just use for my my thicker foam I got at wall mart a few years back. It was cheap too. I ask the wife what it cost and she remembered because it didn't have a prince on it so they had to go get the price and it was $16. 3 big foam sheets 3mm each 12"X18" for $1 each. Can't beat that with a stick and for the price all these boxes I can keep them in a box in the boat if rain can get in. I don't think it will if laying down flat. I am going to cut little slits in the roar for the hooks like they do in fly tying boxes.

Don't know about water proof yet since I have not even filled mine yet, but the lid does close good and it's made for picture storage actually. Hobby Lobby has them.
