    Default Something I Made......

I needed something to place my Jigheads on after I painted them....so I came up with this idea on using a old BBQ Grate...after cleaning it...painting it..and using a 2x4 for a base.....I have a JigHead Holder....it costs me a little time and some spray paint...

Think I would have tried to give it some legs and laying flat you could hang a lot more and Wouldn't need to cut any of the tines. Not sure how you would put legs on that though. I use a grate much like that, but smaller that has fold out legs on the ends. I also use a similar one for hanging jigs that maybe needs some drying time on eyes or maybe one of my Glow Jigs. I use maybe 4 or 5 of these racks for things like this and more also next to where I tie. See pic below.

I will take a photo of mine when I get home today. I made one smaller but similar to yours Skip but I made it from scrap wood and weed eater line. Easy peasy and totally customizable.

Makes perfectly good sense to me. I personally like the table-type with the legs... but in limited space situations I could certainly see how the vertical mount would save some workbench space against the wall.

I forgot to say... very nicely done. Necessity is always the mother of invention--I know that as well as anyone. I like your innovative approach to this problem and I like the alterations you made by cutting out the rows in order to allow the necessary hanging space for your creations as they dry. I'm sure it will serve you well. Thanks for sharing.

At work on my lunch hour so I can't send a pick. But I made mine out of coat hangers (cut the straight part out) and them alum. cooking pans from WalMart. Poked holes in the sides, bent a 90 degree in one end of the hanger, slide it through the side of the pan. I made several ones that are of different sizes, with multiple wires.

Here is what I made with scrap wood and weed trimmer line. You could make this however you like vertical or horizontal. I do like that idea of clothes hanger wire.
