Well after watching some YouTube videos. (Thanks SK) Here is my first attempt at tying jigs. My cement bottle leaks and got on the black one.. Sorry for cluttered background.

The chartreuse was first and black second.





I think the black one one is better then the first. Tail seems long on first.

I’m happy with the fourth jig. Everything seems about right. Fifth seems really long tail. The purple feather was much bigger and instead of measuring by sight I guessed length. Also the body seems thin. I’m sure they will catch just not pretty.

Long tails I was told was good for winter. It slows the drop time. Gives them a little more time to look at them.

Thanks everyone. Just having fun and learning as I go. Funny you mentioned hanging one. I thought about doing the same thing.....lol. Probably try more today sometime.
