    Default My first Ice fishing jigs for Fish through the Ice !!!


    Tied some micro jigs to use threw the Ice for a friend here in Spring Valley ..
    Thread-70 flo pink
    Hook #10 90 degree gold jig hook
    Bead-Glow in the dark 7/64 brass with about 3-5 turn of .025 lead free
    Tail- Hot pink feather fluff from bottom of hackle
    Body- Medium Holo-silver tinsel
    Hot spot - Red thread
    Steve - stabgnid


    Nice crappies and medium sized bluegill all afternoon! Only used the pink one so far. No reason to change it up cuz it was working like a charm! I'll get better pics for you as the fish keep getting bigger

    Oh my seeing that reminds me why I left Northern Illinois. I did do the ice fishing on the local lakes, and it was a blast.
