We'll pray for health and healing. Hope your rig brings you many treats (gills) for Halloween.
Pass the "Sportsman Baton" on before you're gone, promote values for others to hunt and fish upon.

Those are looking good Ship. Should put a lot of fish in the boat. Still Praying for your quick and full Recovery my friend. Keep the faith strong. When are you heating this to paint, before or after the soldering process, and if after, how are you heating it so as not to melt the solder?

After the soldering process you will see the solder set. That is when I take forceps and hold the lure over the powder paint jar. I take a baby spoon and sprinkle the lime powder paint on the lure while the rest of the powder paint falls back into the jar. I then take a paint can opener and spread another contrasting color on. After that you carefully take the solder gun and lightly touch the back of the lure on the nickle area about two seconds at a time until the powder pain has melted.

After that I take a can of black outdoor spray paint and spray some into a lid. Cut off the tip of a toothpick and dip it in the lid of spray paint and use it to add on the eyes or the dots.

You solder a gold hook to a shell. I use powder paint on one side and keep the nickle finish on the shell on the other side. I might put a tiny ball sponge on them and spray "Slab Sauce" on that ball or I may just use some wax worms if I can find some. If not I do make some nice 1 inch soft plastics. I welcome your comments.

They look great, they will kill gills and red ears also. I just add a nibble to them. Prayers for you and your family with your cancer fight. I have been there.
