Thank you all. Encouraging as always and appreciate the comments. Still think some of y’all ccould give a few
    ““hey, try this instead””s
Those are #4 hooks. I usually don’t go under a #2. Even in 1/32. But will try em.

They will get tossed and there will be pictures sooner or later. Did bank fishing Sunday with my oldest. Trying to learn to throw a triple tail better.
    Probably retied twelve times....
I usually only take three jigs when I go in the boat...
I’ve gotta lotta learning to do.

Those look great, but like you said, I would try a bit of red flash. Maybe a strand on each side. Would give it a bit of that bleeding minnow effect maybe. Just a suggestion, but their is nothing wrong with these and they should catch da feeshes well....

Here are a few things to consider and I got all these from some of your neighbors over in Louisiana. The little heads I have shown were made for them and I got that head from using one they gave me to get a mold made and we used #6 Sickles hooks in these, so a #4 would be same gap size, but longer shank and dealing with short hair we just went with the #6 Sickles. I also got the idea of using a piece of Red thread or Red Floss. I will put a picture below to show this. Seems they did well with them and one guy still calls wanting more. Spoke to him yesterday. The two jigs in the pic were just the first two sample heads Robert sent me and they also showed me just how good these can be!

So be kind as these were the first two of these I ever tied, lol!

Skip, does that wedge head do anything special that makes it desirable over a round ball head jig??
