    Default Rabbit Zonkers


    I wanting to try my hand tying some rabbit hair. I use a 1/32 & 1/24 head with a #4 hook. Which one should I order - regular cut - cross cut , etc.

    I'm not good at it by any stretch but I use straight for tail if wrapping with chenel. And use straight for tail and wrap cross cut for body. That makes a nice body with lots of movement. I tie on 1/16 and 1/8 with big hooks. So I use the Magnum strips from JJ Stockard flir. Only place I have found them. They are a wider cut strip.

    Well it depends on what look you are looking for. Let me find a pic to see if that will help.

    Here are some I posted a good wile back, but one is just Crosscut and the other is Crosscut and Zonkers.

    I tied these about 9 or 10 years ago.
