    Default Sam's Special Marabou

I only make jigs once or twice a year and only make three or four colors total. I fire up the lead pot about every third year and make 100 1/4oz heads.
Seeing the stuff you guys make tempts my to up that rate ; substantially...

As long as it works for you, it good enough. You must be picking good colors for your water if you can just tie a few colors and only a couple time each year, that great! Love seeing all the different combos' guys tie in different waters so thanks for sharing.

If I go a little while without tying something it starts to make me need to think too much about what I am doing. So I like to at least tie a few often even if it's just to tie something to stay in practice.

Yea, I used to make a dozen or so colors and variants. It eventually boiled down to a few with a specific lake or group of lakes in mind... Black/char is my only true everywhere color.

Congrats to you! That’s what I need to do also. BUT I’ve also found flipping colors around doesn’t foul the catch. and it keeps the tying from getting boring Sam's Special Marabou

Awesome jigs, you should be proud of em.
