Default How to carry tying gear when traveling?

How do you transport your tying gear while going on a camping/fishing trip?
I'll have time in camp to tie jigs. Looking for storage ideas to get the gear to and from camp.

Any pictures? Or model number of the tackle box? I like the idea.

What about the vise? What do you mount it too?

A lot of people buy "traveler" vises just for this. One of my local fly shops said that's about all they sell any more.

I am unfamiliar with them. How are they different? Do you have a link to one, or a brand/ model number!

I was just talking about the vises that have a pedestal base, so they don't clamp or attach to anything. All of the local tiers I know use this type.

I'm sorry for the slow response, I've been working at the deer lease. It's a Plano Model 732. I use a Peak clamp on vise, any table edge will do!

I have a wood box that I bought at a flea market. 1/4” ply and roughly 10x10x14, light hinges and clasp and a grab handle on top. Held everything related to tying when I first started and would do a good job for what you seek. And you could stack on top of it, important when getting everything in the back of the car. Just looked for it to add a pic but can’t find it. Will add later if it shows up.
Creativity is just intelligence fooling around
Thanks Hanr3 thanked you for this post
